Gunwhale Ales’ “Coastal Ales” in a rustic, yet coastal themed Costa Mesa tasting room – okay, it’s sexy. Their beer board is a mix (mostly) of “yeast driven” saisons, and “hop forward” IPA’s, and all are highly drinkable.

This became our second location after about 9 months, which was awesome because our Head Homie made it a point to stop in for their beer whenever down that way. They have a rustic, hand-made, artistic process believe and love displayed throughout their tasting room and brand. They liked that parallel with how our class is run. They’re second, and larger, location is in Orange with a full brew-house to look into, and a more “desert” vibe being more inland than the “coastal” vibe of the Costa Mesa location.
